04 · QUIET MATERIAL CONTRAST

Luma

Series · Quiet material contrasts for darker spaces

PRODUCT LANGUAGE

Light and dark wood, in balance

The executive desk, back cabinet and four-person meeting table share a coordinated composition of light-wood outer areas and dark-wood central surfaces.

The executive desk combines a light-wood perimeter, two central panels and a black grille. The back cabinet centres its front on a pair of doors, while the four-person meeting table places two seats along each long side, facing one another.

Across all three products, light wood surrounds darker central areas. Work, storage and brief meetings each have a clearly defined place.

WHAT DEFINES THE PRODUCT

What defines the series.

Structure · Materials · Use

Design detail · 01

The desk's perimeter and colour divisions

The light-wood desktop perimeter surrounds two dark-wood central panels. The side cabinet and main desk continue these clear layers, with the side grille retaining its separate dark finish.

Design detail · 02

A pair of central cabinet doors

Two dark-wood central doors contrast with the light-wood door sections on either side. The central vertical joint and horizontal joints at the sides organise the flat cabinet front.

Design detail · 03

Two central panels define the meeting table

Light-wood end panels and two dark-wood central panels form clear divisions. A lengthwise centre joint preserves the paired-panel arrangement, while rounded corners complete the desktop outline.
